Classical Composers

BachJohann Sebastian Bach was a German composer, organist, violist, and violinist whose ecclesiastical and secular works for choir, orchestra, and solo instruments drew together the strands of the Baroque period and brought it to its ultimate maturity.

 

 

BeetovenLudwig van Beethoven was a German Composer and pianist. He was a crucial figure in the transitional period between the Classical and Romantic and eras in Western Classical music., and remains one of the most acclaimed and influential composers of all time.

 

 

MozartWolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical era. He composed over 600 works, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music. He is among the most enduringly popular of classical composers.

Classical Conversations was founded in 1997 by Leigh Bortins in order to provide academic programs, communities, training, and services for home school families everywhere. Since then, it has grown from Leigh’s living room and a handful of students to thousands of students and teams of home school parents across the United States and beyond.
